I have always loved music, innately understanding
the spiritual language it speaks. I started playing and composing as a young
child and have improvised my own music throughout my life. In recent years I
have participated in ceremonies and celebrations, both joyous and sad,
playing classical music as well as intuitively guided music that I compose
extemporaneously. A couple of years ago, my good friend Chi asked me to play
a Klezmer improvisation at her wedding. I have also played at funerals and
memorial services.
I have experienced the deep power of
music to move people, to release grief, to initiate healing, and I hope to
share this with many more people in the years to come.
